Hörtheater is Stephane«s second official solo release (first: schmalfilmer ep rmx 2003, naivsuper 001). Hörtheater is a quiet ambient record gaining its strength from the number of sound layers and the developed thickness as a result. Long stretched tones, loops and shy harmonic drones come together to create a dark yet light atmosphere. The tracks are like scenes of a play full of small gestures, unspoken and undone things partly inspired by the japanese NOH theater.
Hörtheater is minimal ambient, is music, is experiment, is a foreign soundscape...
